Coco Princhard’s Must-Have Toy Story

Review: Another fun read from Robert Bryndza!

Coco is back! It’s just before Christmas in 1992 and four year old Rosencrantz only wants one thing, Tracy Island. The problem is so does every other kid, but Coco is determined to make it happen for her son. With a less than helpful husband, an overbearing mother-in-law, and a series of wacky events, she’s got her work cut out for her.

Coco Princhard’s Must-Have Toy Story is a fun festive novella with lots of Bryndza-antics. A perfect light and easy read for the stressful holidays, complete with the timeless message on the importance of family and friends (and Tracy Island, of course).

After reading Miss Wrong and Mr Right, I was more than thrilled to bump Coco Princhard’s Must-Have Toy Story to the top of my TBR. Robert has a way of creating larger than life characters that are totally believable and putting them in over the top situations that are equally believable to create laugh out loud stories. I challenge you to read his books with a straight face 🙂

This is the fifth Coco book and although you don’t need to read the other’s first, I would suggest at least grabbing the first book before reading Must-Have Toy Story. You won’t get lost, but being such a short read, you may find it more humourous if you build a relationship with Coco and her friends first.

A great big thank you to Robert Bryndza for offering me an ARC of Coco Princhard’s Must-Have Toy Story in exchange for my honest review!
